How our adventures began!

Jacob Welcomes Anissa back from Maryland after Filming Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal (A & E Network)!!

Our Adventures in "Boohay Paranormal" began unbeknown to us when Anissa was at the early age of 5 yrs old and Mr. Jacob was just 2 yrs. Anissa's first "visitors" were which, we believe or recall, were the spirits of animals. What a nice way to ease us into this phenomenon of the "other side". Of coarse I've always believed there is the "other side" but never comprehended the thought of myself and especially not my children being able to communicate with the world less known to most of us. Boy has our lives took quite the turn of one I would not have expected. I am now a true believer that we all have a path and there is no "coincidences".  It is what it is and we are now ready to accept and embrace where our path has lead us and continues to lead us. Now for the "Boohay Adventures"
One of the first memories I recall was when Anissa was looking outside our patio door into our backyard and all of sudden she was filled with excitement and certainty. She was "seeing" our Pomeranian puppy named Bailey. Anissa was telling us he was outside running around, jumping in the grass, and don't we see him too? I played along with her as if Yes, Bailey was outside and  wasn't that nice to see Bailey so happy.... I thought she was using her imagination to see him. Bailey was my beloved dog of 12 years that passed away just that winter before. Soon after that beautiful summer day the vision's of Bailey were coming more and more frequent for Anissa. Anissa was see him riding in the car with us, she'd describe him sitting up across my neck while I was driving just looking out the window...Well, guess what?? That was Bailey's favorite riding spot, all perched up on the nape of my neck and we both loved it (Bailey & I). Anissa also sometimes would "feel" Bailey's fur under her legs as she sat in the car seat riding in car. Well, guess where Bailey's #2 favorite spot to sit was while riding in the car??? Bailey would tuck himself right under her little legs and cuddle right in and enjoy the ride. Coincidence that she would remember this? I thought so, I would engage in conversations with Anissa when she would say to me "mommy, I feel Bailey under my legs and would then reach out to pet him". I would tell Anissa, oh please tell Bailey I miss him and love him for me. We'd just laugh. Soon after I noticed Anissa starting to mention "seeing" our other animals that have passed, Dusty (our cat), and then Skittles (our other cat the disappeared and we had no idea what happened to him until his spirit started to appear to Anissa) Now this is a funny story that I know at her current age of 12 she would not want me to share but she will appreciate it one day. I will one day share once she give me "permission" to share it.

I don't want to forget that Jacob too would play along with Anissa about "seeing" what I assume to be the spirits of our beloved past pets, Bailey, Dusty, Skittles, and Snowflake (our also lost hamster). It was very entertaining.

The spirit of animals is something I find fascinating. Spirit animals is something I've never really thought much about until Anissa started to bring me so much peace when speaking of my Bailey visiting her at night, cuddling with her in bed, and sitting up at the top of the steps in our home where we found him most days. Anissa also gave my dear friend, Laura Babaneau, some peace when one day while at a sleep over Anissa asked Laura if they ever had a black and white puppy, about "so and so high"? Laura responded that Yes, her name was Daisy, and Ms. Daisy died 12 years ago. Anissa responded to her by saying that she "saw" Daisy playing outside with them while the girls were playing tag and that Daisy was carrying a toy or something in her mouth. Daisy was running after the girls and playing.....Laura showed Anissa a picture of Daisy and Anissa said "yep that's the puppy I saw outside". Laura said that Daisy loved her "toys" and often had a toy in her mouth. I know it brought a smile to Laura's face. Animals truly are just another part of our family and it's nice to know they still can come back for a visit and bring us joy & happiness from the "other side".  Let me share a picture of Hannah and Laura so you can see how I am referring to :). Thank you so much to Laura and Hannah for being such wonderful and support friends.
